Education and culture are integral to a person's lifestyle. Without these essential elements, no individual's life can be complete. Unfortunately, many people today overlook these values, relegating them to mere dictionary entries while pursuing superficial knowledge. In the name of culture, they cling to subcultures, and in the name of education, they confine learning to rote memorization of books, creating barriers to true understanding. As a result, society is afflicted with a kind of social cancer—a distortion of education and culture. People often mistake Western culture for mere subcultural trends, leading to a misguided pursuit of freedom that resembles the delusions of a madman. Yet, this situation continually troubles the hearts of socially conscious individuals, who are mocked for their sense of responsibility and duty. Still, they tirelessly seek a path—a path that leads to a meaningful life and offers people the light of liberation. This path not only educates but also empowers individuals to become self-reliant.
Inspired by such aspirations, visionaries have begun to challenge the conventional education system, seeking alternative paths. In the words of Rabindranath Tagore, "We carried education, but we could not drive it." I am uncertain whether I am among those who have found this path, but I know in my heart that I have been sowing seeds of hope in the soil of our country. Through educational and cultural initiatives, I have learned to nurture dreams of a better life. With unwavering faith, I have embarked on this journey, though its history is brief. In this short time, I have discovered the true meaning of my dream: only by finding the right path can we empower others to become self-reliant and lead fulfilling lives.
Over the past years, we have extended a helping hand to underprivileged students from remote villages in Bengal, bringing them out of their huts and into the light of opportunity. I seek nothing in return but the realization of many dreams. The Hazi Saleman Academy seeks your cooperation to embody this dream and achieve something greater. This achievement is the pride of our nation, our country, and our eternal social wealth. Thus, I envision the Hazi Saleman Academy as a true seeker of education and culture, delivering the essence of a meaningful life.
Thank you,
